What we do best

We offer an initial consultation to all our clients, diagnosing and highlighting behavioural changes that are of concern and our approach to resolving those issues.

House Call

We make in home visits, so we can further access the environment and situations that give rise to certain unwanted behaviours. Often effective communication between our beloved pets and ourselves can greatly improve the harmony of the entire household.

Ongoing support and reinforcement from our trainers, in the form of tangible exercises and positive feedback, melts away much of the frustration and anxiety; the root of many behavioural issues.

I believe that learning should be fun. Drawing from personal experience I understand that learning occurs faster, and more information is retained when lessons engage the student. Providing a safe learning environment for the people and dogs is always my top priority. Knowledge is power and my goal is to help my human and animal clients gain their confidence working together to achieve their goals.
Science has proven time and time again that all living beings learn the same. While I’ve proved it by using my methods with other species; our dogs are often thought to have a different psychology.
My mission is to teach not only “how to fix” the problem-but teach the humans why. By sharing more of the science it arms you with tools to work with your dog.

And thus the name of my company: We naturally teach, so we have fluent communication.

Communication is the biggest breakdown in any relationship and it’s no different with our dogs. Many times I find families are frustrated, and just wish they could get their dog to understand requests.
The little secret we often miss is that our dogs are communicating with us constantly; we’re just too busy to actually listen. A click can be the kickstart to open dialogue to help us work with our furry companions. I offer private, in home sessions to focus on what matters most to you.

Business Owner

"My wife and I had the opportunity to volunteer at an animal rescue where I met Nina as the dog coordinator. Always very professional and has such a love for dogs. Was sad when she left the rescue to pursue her dream, so glad she started her business, will definitely use her services without hesitation. She has much knowledge in the dog behavior field."

"Vehicle trips for our senior dog were fraught with anxiety and fear and left everyone feeling stressed and exhausted by the time we got to our destination. When our senior dog was diagnosed with cancer, we had to make multiple trips to see clinics, holistic therapists and for surgery. In preparation for this journey, Nina worked gently with him to help him not fear the vehicle and feel comfortable on trips. Her approach to teaching us to note his cues, as well as allow him to make the choices, left us with a dog that was excited to get in the vehicle and not over threshold when we arrived. It helped make an incredibly difficult journey so much easier on him and we are forever grateful."

Animal Rescue

"As a rescue I have dealt with several trainers and behaviourists over the years and Nina is by far the most amazing person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. There is no doubt in my mind that she is in this 1000% for the animals and she goes above and beyond for every single one of her clients. She is truly a gift to Hope Lives Here and to all of our animals. I recommend her daily to anyone needing a little (or a lot) of extra help with their animals."
